Al Soliman Orphanage

Al Soliman Orphanage

Al Soliman Orphanage was established in 1972 by Mr. Major / Adel Soliman, and Mrs. Fawzia El-sayed Sobh “May their souls rest in peace”, it was built to be a home for children from the age of two years to the age of eleven years then they move to the aftercare where they can continue their education and get actively engaged with the community.

The orphanage has always seemed like a real home of everybody, because of the attention it had been given by late Major General Adel Soliman.

He devoted a lot of his time until it became his main concern, that has contributed to the graduation of many generations of successful individuals who have been able to reach major achievements, at the scientific and practical levels, most of them have established families, and have been effectively integrated into society.

The current record number of the orphanage is 70 children.

While the elderly home is a separate section that aims to provide full-time care for seniors who require help, they move to a residential facility that provides many or all of the long-term care services they need, because at some point, support from family and friends, may not be enough.
